Mister Important is an Oakland-based design boutique specializing in creating spectacular hotel, nightlife, and restaurant environments.
I worked with owner Charles Doell to design and develop a sleek, modern web presence for the company to better highlight his exuberant aesthetics by doing more with less. It seemed like the best approach here was to take a very minimalist approach with web design and let the interior design work speak for itself as much as possible. The user of the site is immediately immersed in color and texture with minimal overlays, and a slideshow automatically plays through all of the locations.
